Our Commitment to Financial Transparency

At the Clarington East Food Bank, we are committed to the responsible and transparent management of every dollar entrusted to us. We ensure that funds are used efficiently to support our mission of reducing food insecurity in our community.

Each year, the Clarington East Food Bank submits audited financial statements to ensure full compliance with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and to maintain the highest standards of accountability.

Our Financial Practices

We want our supporters to know that CEFB:

  • Does not use professional fundraisers

  • Does not solicit by phone or door-to-door

  • Does not sell or trade your name or address

  • Spends less than 10% on administration costs

  • Does not tie up funds in long-term investments

Every donation we receive is directed toward providing food and essential support to our neighbours in need.
