April 25th to April 30th is National Volunteer Week!
The theme for the National Volunteer week is Volunteering is Empathy in Action. Empathy is a quality that can help people relate to and connect with others. Empathy helps to build awareness around different experiences. Empathy requires connection, reflection, and heart and our community of volunteers demonstrate these qualities through their work each day.
Our volunteers at CEFB are essential to the emergency food services and support we offer our community. Throughout the past year, our volunteers have assisted us at food drives, helped us sort food and assisted us in serving our neighbours.
A very sincere thank you to our volunteers.
The Staff of Clarington East Food Bank
