Clarington East Food Bank (CEFB) is an organization dedicated to helping those who require food assistance in our community. Services are free of charge, and open to everyone living in Newcastle, Orono, Newtonville, Kendal and Kirby. The ‘Clarington East’ area is bounded on the east Clarington/Hope Line; on the west by Lambs Road; on the south by Lake Ontario and on the north by Kendal Ridge (just north of Ganaraska Road and Taunton Road). As long as we have food available from collected donations; we will do our best to help fight hunger in Clarington East.
If are in need of food for yourself and/or your family, please call us at (905) 987-1418, send an email via
firstname.lastname@example.org , or simply drop in at the food bank, located in Newcastle at 123 King Avenue West,
Unit 1, during our regular hours of operation (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
Upon your visit, you will be asked to fill out a processing form and offer two pieces of identification. We are able to provide individuals or families with several days-worth of food, once a month.
Our services are confidential and without hassles.
